Rocko & Nakota: Tales from the Land

Written & performed by Josh Languedoc | Directed by Barry Bilinsky

Young Nakota, sick and alone in hospital, struggles to write an awesome story. In the middle of a panic attack, he sees his Grandfather, Rocko. Rocko’s stories, challenges and teachings help Nakota face his fears, and learn to listen to the land. Heartfelt and funny, this original piece by Josh Languedoc has delighted audiences at Fringe Festivals across the land.

Rocko and Nakota: Tales From the Land ★★★★★
Rocko and Nakota masterfully weaves colourful Anishinaabe stories into Nakota’s sterile hospital life. It is a heartwarming tale about family, storytelling, and a First Nation boy’s connection to his ancestors
